You can connect two separate devices to the DisplayPort connections and manually select which device the signal should be sent to. You can also connect one device and manually select which device you want to send the signal to. Non-functional product

connected to a Dell monitor on the output, with a laptop and a fixed pc. The laptop works from time to time, and the desktop flashes (so impossible to use)
