Special feature of the HC (Healthcare) version: The UV and disinfectant resistant housing of the ZD510-HC printer is designed for regular chemical and UV treatments, which prevent the spread of germs for greater patient safety.
The ZD510-HC is the easiest to use wristband printer on the market. Simply insert the Zebra Z-Band cartridge and print. The smart chip in each cartridge allows for automatic calibration.
The ZD510-HC printer comes standard with Ethernet, USB, USB host and Bluetooth Low Energy connections. The optional dual wireless radio offers 802.11ac Wi-Fi, the latest security protocols and Bluetooth 4.1 for concurrent wired and wireless communications. In addition, with the Print Touch (NFC) cartridge, users simply touch a compatible handheld device to a ZD510-HC printer to pair and print.
The ZD510-HC is compatible with all major ADT (Admit, Discharge, Transfer) patient systems, including Allscripts, CareFusion, Cerner, CPSI, Epic and McKesson. Wristband formats from these systems integrate easily and quickly.
