The ZD421D features an innovative architecture and is ready for the printing of the future. In terms of power, it outperforms the ZD420 by 30% and the GK series by 700%. It performs more operations simultaneously, while maintaining a high level of security and preparing you for future technologies.
Flexibility, reliability and security
You can deploy your ZD421D with confidence within your existing printer fleet. It uses the same applications and label formats you already use. It supports EPL and ZPL printer languages and can emulate languages normally associated with other printer brands using the Virtual Devices tool in the Zebra Print DNA suite. You can connect the ZD421D to your wired networks or directly to a PC. The ZD421D comes standard with USB/USB Host connectivity and offers Ethernet, serial and Bluetooth 4.1 connections. You can print from any Windows, Android or iOS device.
The ZD421D is the only thermal printer to offer a ribbon cartridge that loads in seconds securely. The design eliminates the risk of error, and loading is instantaneous and reliable. The ribbon's built-in encrypted chip indicates when the ribbon needs to be replaced.
