The 21/9 side is automatically recognized in the games (partially, not in the menus) and allows easily to have 2 windows next to each other.
Height wise, it's like a 28" (it's just wider :) )
The screen menu is good but the navigation sucks ( 1 button per action, it's boring to navigate).
I would 100% recommend this excellent gaming monitor which is also perfect for office, productivity, internet, creative, photo and video viewing. It's a real pleasure to use and even for movies with its 21:9 cinema format and its superb HDR 400 technology for a high contrast image with deep blacks and great light allowing you to see much better in night scenes or in space for example. It is also very good to enjoy many video games with a total immersion thanks to its very pronounced curvature of 1000 R! So I discovered AOC with this wonderful monitor to the point where I didn't hesitate for a second to buy a second AOC monitor just one month later in order to have a perfect setup as I needed a complementary monitor to this one with different but equally remarkable characteristics! So happy with my two purchases of these 2 AOC GAMING monitors on LDLC that I am thinking about a possible third one! I also want to point out that my 2 AOC GAMING monitors had no pixel problems, no dead pixels on delivery of these 2 new products, which is obviously a very good point to note too! The 2 deliveries were perfect, whether it be the box of the monitors, the speed of delivery impeccable respected and the professional and friendly deliverymen. The screen is great and arrived well. Exactly what was expected.
Great curvature very nice and therefore foot imposing.
Shame it travelled 640km when I live 240km from the warehouse. Not very environmentally friendly.
The screen is in line with the price, I didn't expect anything exceptional and nothing special. It's still a good screen for its price.
I'm still disappointed that it is advertised as Gsync, you can actually activate gsync on your card by activating freesync on the screen but you can't set anything on the card. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use the card as a standalone device, but I'm not sure it's a good idea to use the card as a standalone device, either.
It's a shame I bought this screen for gsync.
The backlight bleed is too pronounced.
The most visible leak on the bottom right does not fail to attract my attention, at each cinematics a bright spot of 3 to 5 cm reminds me of the savings made by choosing this model ...
For this 21/9 format, choose another range if you feel that the Dalmatian effect will annoy you with each truncated movie.
As for the guarantee, when I received the product in the shop, I was explicitly informed that in case of problem for online orders, it does not happen in the shop... I had good reasons to be worried about this product and to anticipate a probable return. The message got through, I will be looking at other brands in the future.
bought for the curvature of the screen, great for games but difficult to use for industrial design. straight lines are curved. long live the soft distorting screens. 4 stars because the sound is disastrous and requires the use of external devices
I ordered it on Tuesday at 1pm and received it on Wednesday at 11am, thank you LDLC.
I've been looking in vain for tests on the net to be sure of my choice, today I don't regret it in the least. I go from an LG 34 in 2560/1080 144hz to this one and the difference in resolution, without being flagrant already notable. I've activated the Gsync and in 165hz the fluidity is incredible, absolutely no lag, no remanence even on fast games.
I'm not sure if it's a good idea to have a full screen calibration paper provided by AOC showing a DELTA E of 0.64 and a luminance uniformity over 25 points of more than 98% is a real testament to the quality of this panel. The colours are really magnificent, with top contrast and deep blacks despite the VA panel.
The only problem is the stand which unfortunately shifts the monitor 17cm away from the wall. As a result I have just bought a wall mount...

After weeks of searching for an ultra wide 21:9 I could not decide and then I saw this screen on ldlc which is recent, good brand and these incredible characteristics 165hz, 1ms I jumped the step, passing from a 4k monitor to the ultra wide, the immersion is total on this last curved 1000R cyberpunk 2077 a marvel in 2K, the colour is good and the finish corresponds to the expectations of the price, I recommend it
