TheUltimaker Air Manager is a filtration bonnet designed specifically for the Ultimaker S5 printers. It is equipped with a ventilation system to filter out ultra-fine particles released during printing.
Fine particle control and filtration
TheUltimaker Air Manager ensures effective filtration of particles generated during 3D printing of the various plastic materials available. Thanks to its ventilation system equipped with an EPA filter, the Air Manager is able to remove up to 95% of ultra-fine particles from the exhaust air.
In addition to particle filtration, the Air Manager provides a totally enclosed and secure print enclosure. Having an enclosed print area can result in improved print results for some materials. For example, you can see better adhesion for Nylon and CPE, better cooling for ABS, Nylon and CPE, and better overhangs for PLA, Nylon, CPE and CPE+.
Connected directly to the printer, the Ultimaker Air Manager adapts the filtration and temperature of the print chamber to the material being used. In addition, the printer informs you when the EPA filter needs to be replaced to ensure proper operation.
