Good QLED TV at a good price.
Its big negative point is the responsiveness of its OS, Android TV, compared to competitors (I'm basing this on a Fire TV Cube from Amazon, but which has the proprietary Fire OS overlay).
The delivery went well, product received and installed. I'm very pleased with the quality of the product and the service. I'm very pleased with the quality of the product and the quality of the service.
The price/quality ratio is unbeatable.
The pluses:
- very nice borderless screen
- nice finish in the details (metal and fabric)
- nice image with good contrast without being excessive
- Android TV responsive and fluid
- All the goodies for new generation consoles: 120Hz, VRR, ALLM, HDR, DolbyAtmos, DolbyVisions (make sure to update the TV to take advantage of it, once done, what a pleasure! Tested and approved on X series)
- THE PRICE (yes, despite what the tests say, it is important!)
The minuses:
- No anti-reflection (or else it is very discreet!)
- two remotes but the big one has no microphone and the small one has no numeric keypad
- like many smartTVs, the menus are not very intuitive and require a bit of research and practice to find the option you want.
The TV itself is very well made, easy to use with a good design and an audio/video quality that, without being extraordinary, is more than correct (compared to my old Philips TV, old enough to still have a peritelle plug haha) for the price. The £100 refund is also very interesting, hopefully the process will go smoothly (I've done everything necessary on the TCL website via the link provided, I'll update my review when I get a return from them)

Excellent value for money, Qled, 100Hz native, 4K, packed with options, great picture quality, good fluidity, well done TCl.
If I go for a second TV it will be either this one again, or a 55C825 if I can afford it, but it is more expensive.
This is a beautiful television set! Packed with options that make it attractive for its price and what you can get from the competition.
I was thinking of a 50" panel at first, then I took this one with its native 100 Hz. As for the rest: HDMI 2.1, Dolby Vision, a QLED filter, a smart but not too intrusive Androîd (physical button for the Google Home) and the sound that is not neglected.
(And if you have a little extra money, I could see the C825 mini led being a good idea)
I do hope it doesn't disappoint in its lifespan. I think the brand is trying to establish itself as a serious manufacturer.
