I was very excited at the idea of having envin clean sound when I was talking on video (teleworking), until I realised while doing some tests that the gap between this mic and the laptop's built-in microphone array was really not that great :(
So it's a bulky gizmo with little added value if you have a built-in mic...

For its price, the microphone is really good quality! As a former headset user, the difference in voice quality is obvious. My friends are rediscovering my voice....
Other than that, the solocast is really well finished, it weighs only a little, which is a testament to its quality, and the mute function with its tactile touch is super practical. The microphone support is also good quality. What's more, I've combined the mic with an articulated arm, so I've attached it via the tapped hole in the mic and it's perfect!
The biggest plus for me is its accessibility and the touch-sensitive mute button.
Delivery: living on Reunion Island I was afraid of the wait but the package arrived in 4 days but customs had decided to block the package ... after contacting ldlc who themselves have contacted the post office, the problem was unblocked very quickly. Thanks to the staff!
I've found no software that can deal with the sensitivity of the microphone, but it's a shame, I find the price a bit too high
I bought this microphone so I wouldn't have to wear my headphones all the time. The idea was to record my voice and not the rest. However, the sound of my keyboard is also recorded as well as the clicks of the mouse but even more annoying are the sounds coming out of my speakers which are behind my screen and not next to it at all.
