The Scarlett OctoPre Dynamic preamp is the best solution you'll find on the market for adding eight mic/line inputs to your DAW. It also features eight balanced line outputs, direct from their respective preamps for use on stage in a live environment.

With this Scarlett preamplifier, you can energize all your work and enjoy eight Focusrite Scarlett second generation channels and a VCA Soft Knee compressor on each channel. Aptly named, the Scarlett OctoPre Dynamic lets you control the dynamics of all your input signals with an analogue compressor on each channel. It is adjustable with a simple potentiometer. A transparent mode allows for subtle compression, and a "More" button doubles the ratio for even better compression with effect. In addition to the eight input channels, the Scarlett OctoPre Dynamic features eight line outputs, linked to the ADAT inputs for eight additional analogue outputs, or directly to the mic inputs for live use.

This makes the Scarlett OctoPre Dynamic the ideal preamplifier to expand any high quality multi-channel recording system. With its line inputs, dual instrument and mic inputs and analogue compression, it's perfect for recording drums, guitar, keyboards, vocals and more. Finally, its eight outputs give you the ability to extend your analogue outputs far beyond what the Scarlett OctoPre preamplifier is capable of.
