Focusrite 's Scarlett range has a long history of success and the Scarlett OctoPre continues that tradition with a full range of features. With its 8-channel mic preamps and 24-bit AD/DA converters with ADAT, it's a reference model that's sure to excite you every time you use it. It offers you eight additional inputs. It's the perfect way to expand your Scarlett - or any other interface with an ADAT input. It has eight Scarlett mic inputs - also balanced line inputs - all of which operate via Focusrite's precision 24-bit conversion at up to 192kHz resolution with a dynamic range of 109dB.

The front panel has two instrument inputs. The analogue line outputs allow you to enjoy an analogue console. You can use it in conjunction with recording with the digital outputs. With wide-range inputs and a pad on each channel, the Scarlett OctoPre is ideal for you to handle your drums as well as guitars, keyboards, vocals - and more. Finally, the 8 balanced line outputs linked directly to the inputs, allow the Scarlett OctoPre to be used live while capturing the recording via the digital ADAT output.
