Today, the Clarett range is a true reference. Designed by Focusrite, the Clarett OctoPre is an ideal preamplifier to work in conjunction with Clarett audio interfaces thanks to its eight Clarett mic preamps, eight line outputs, ADAT interface and 24-bit & 192 kHz AD/DA conversion. The Clarett OctoPre features the Air function, which brings the legendary sound signature of Focusrite's ISA mic preamps.

It provides excellent 24-bit A/D and D/A conversion accuracy at 192kHz sampling rate, with 118dB of dynamic range to capture all the subtleties of your recordings and mixes. So that you can send the signal to a mixer to produce your tracks live, and simultaneously into the digital environment, you can do so via two ADAT outputs. If required, you can also route from the ADAT inputs to give your DAW an additional eight outputs.

The Clarett Octo Pre can also be used with your favourite audio processing devices such as a compressor, gate, EQ with maximum flexibility via the switchable insert jacks on each channel. The Clarett OctoPre has two high-quality front-panel instrument inputs ready for your guitars and basses. The Clarett OctoPre features six-segment LED peak indicators to monitor input levels. Finally, the Clarett OctoPre is equipped with 48V phantom power on each channel.
