Overview

A lightning-fast mouse

Hit your enemy with deadly accuracy with the Razer Viper 8KHz. This wired mouse features a 20,000 DPI Razer Focus+ optical sensor and 8 fully programmable buttons. The balanced design of this mouse allows it to be ambidextrous for more versatility, while durability is ensured by optical switches with very low response time. The low weight (71g) and Razer Speedflex cable allow for quick movement so you're always ready to react to changes in your environment.

20,000 dpi optical sensor

The Razer Viper 8KHz features the Razer Focus+ 20,000 dpi optical sensor, making it the most advanced sensor in the world. With incredible accuracy, this Razer mouse gives your opponents no chance, allowing you to deliver deadly strikes with extreme precision. The built-in memory lets you set up to 5 levels of DPI which you can vary on the fly via the button on the bottom of the mouse.

The difference between winning and losing is often a matter of fractions of a second, and with this in mind, the Razer Viper 8KHz is designed to give you a distinct advantage over your opponents. The Viper is equipped with second generation Razer optical switches that use an infrared light beam to transmit information.

A benchmark in terms of speed

The sensor isn't everything, which is why Razer engineers have also lightened the Viper 8KHz to make it as light as possible. At just 71g, it will quickly become a true extension of yourself, allowing for extreme reaction speeds. The Speedflex cable also offers a difference from conventional models, as its flexibility has been optimised so that it doesn't twist and snag on surfaces it comes into contact with as little as possible.

Finally, the Razer logo contains an RGB backlight that is compatible with Razer Synapse, which is handy for creating consistent lighting effects among your other compatible products.

Remarkable power compared with other mice

Frankly I was surprised by the speed between the mouse and the computer, it's almost instantaneous thanks to the 8khz frequency. Note that other mice are around 1500, 1000 or 500 hz, so a difference 8 times greater than others. However, on certain games such as Valorant, the frequency can cause your fps to bug. So you'd have to reduce the frequency, but on all the other games I've tested I've had no problems.
