The Panasonic DMC-GX80Y hybrid camera is a photographic genius that's always ready to bring out the best in you, pushing the boundaries of precision. The DMC-GX80Y is equipped with an incredibly effective dual-stabilization system for razor-sharp photos in the middle of the action. It also features a 16MP 4/3-type Live MOS sensor with no low-pass filter, an LCD viewfinder and an intuitive touch screen. A true creative companion, the DMC-GXY features Wi-Fi connectivity and a comfortable grip. Its sleek, portable design means it's always at your side. In this kit, it comes with two stabilised lenses: Lumix G Vario 14-42mm f/3-5.6 II ASPH and Lumix G Vario 45-150mm f/4-5.6 ASPH.

The Lumix GX80 is capable of recording 4K video at 3840 x 2160 pixels at 25p or 24p in MP4 format. With 4K technology, you can capture moments you wouldn't want to miss with 4K (8MP equivalent) photo resolution at 30fps. The optimal mode is selectable (4K burst, 4K S/S (Start/Stop) burst or 4K pre-burst) depending on the situation.
The dual 5-axis image stabiliser provides more effective blur suppression. The combination of a lens and body image stabiliser compensates for larger movements that are usually uncontrollable. This allows you to enjoy sharp photos and videos in wide-angle or telephoto mode, even in low light.
Impressive images
The Lumix GX80 delivers crisp, high-resolution images with high contrast and impressive colour reproduction. Removing the low-pass filter from the Live MOS digital sensor improves borderline resolution while eliminating moiré generation from the Venus Engine.
The Venus Engine reproduces stunning and impressive colours like a clear sky by dividing hue, separation and brightness and adjusting them separately with great precision. Thanks to the electromagnetic shutter motor, the shock induced by the movement of the shutter aperture is greatly reduced.
Intuitiveness and creativity
The Lumix GX80 features a viewfinder with a resolution equivalent to 2,764,000 dots, a colour reproduction of approximately 100% and a magnification of approximately 1.39x/0.7x (35mm camera equivalent). Therear static touchscreen can be tilted up to 80 degrees and down to 45 degrees to facilitate overhead and low-angle shooting.
The Lumix GX80's contrast autofocus incorporates Depth From Defocus (DFD) technology and communicates digital signals at up to 240fps. Combining speed and accuracy, it supports ultra-fast autofocusing of approximately 0.07s and bursting at 8fps (AFS)/6fps (AFC).
