This screen stand is just what I was looking for. It was easy to install.
Having my screen at the right height is very comfortable.
This is exactly what I was looking for. The stand on my Asus PG32UQ was too limited (as well as being unsightly). I couldn't mount my screen high enough. That's all sorted now! The whole thing is top quality, easy to assemble (
VESA mount 100x100mm ).
It's only £30 on sale, so it's a real bargain. I highly recommend this stand if you're looking for sturdiness and sobriety.
I've noticed that the 75x75mm bracket seems more difficult to install (limited space for the screwdriver, so be careful!). For the 100x100mm flush. It's perfect).
Despite the price, I wanted to try this stand to finally get my 27" Odyssey G5 screen at the right height, as I unfortunately have a hollow desk. But some negative points came up:
1/ my screen is not completely flat on the back side and there are some reliefs that almost caused problems
2/ easier to install on VESA 100 than VESA 75, the width of the stand preventing full access with a standard screwdriver
3/ the instructions are not very clear, from what I understand you have to unscrew very small screws that require a very thin key to be able to adjust the different rotations operated by the upper part of the stand
To orientate the screen to the left and to the right the base of the stand rests on a turntable, in my case it's fine, part of the base protrudes from my stand but I imagine that it can be a problem for smaller desks who want to save space in the depth
I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use the base as a stand or not, but I'm sure it's a good idea to use the base as a stand for my monitor. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use a different model, but I'll have to see.
