I've had this screen for a few years now and it's still going strong. I've even had time to change my other screens several times but this one is still as excellent as when I bought it. Good reactivity, beautiful colour, nothing to say which allows multiple use in gaming, editing, streaming, film.
Screen delivered faulty with no solution to take back from customer service.
Customer service is terrible.
I will not buy from LDLC again
After testing a samsung, I sent it back, a catastrophic pitch in QHD, and thanks to LDLC who refunded me, I went on the DELL.
I reduced the resolution and stayed on Full HD, an interesting pitch, a fast refresh, only happiness.
As I do vector drawing (Blender), I can see the difference with my good old Samsung SyncMaster whose DVI connectivity failed me.
I recommend this monitor, it's cheap, very good, height adjustable and a very interesting feature, the screen adjustment, at least in HDMI, can be done via a software. No more need to worry about buttons and especially to find the sequence of settings... Thank you DELL for having thought of this.
Adjustable height and tilt although this was not clear on the sheet. The dual HDMI input allows the same screen to be shared between two PCs, when two PCs are needed (e.g. Linux and Window)
Despite its somewhat high power consumption, the Dell 23.8" LED - S2421HGF is still very good value for money. I prefer it for office use and for games that do not consume a lot of power.
I bought this screen for a first PC setup and frankly I am not disappointed. The 24" size is perfect for video games or even web browsing but I'm still going to buy another screen for a dual screen in IPS because when it comes to colours obviously the TN panel is not the best... The 144hz is nice in game and the response time is ultra short, the borderless screen is great and the fact that you can raise and lower it or even tilt it is a must! Ultra easy to assemble, go for it with your eyes closed!
Very satisfied with my purchase. The picture is of good quality and I really gain in visual comfort. The 2 HDMI ports are very useful.
I'm very happy with the quality of the picture. The box arrived open, fortunately everything was inside. I'm not sure if it's a good one or not, but I'm sure it's a good one.
There is no doubt that this display is a success. The packaging and the way in which it is made operational, without any risk during the event, inspire confidence.
The rendering is impeccable. However, the pre-setting of the brightness needs to be adjusted to reduce light leakage (brightness set too high)
I have upgraded from a 27 inch samsung curved to this screen and I can say that I can see the difference.
The screen is nice with good customisation of the quality as well as the positon of the screen.
It's a good 144hz 1080p1920, very thin edges, 1 HDMI and dvi socket. I bought it for 170 euros on discount, I don't regret the money at all. If your goal is to play then go with your eyes closed.
