Overview

Everyday performance and comfort

The iiyama XUB2490HSUH-B2 monitor features a 24-inch IPS panel, for wide viewing angles and highly accurate colors. In terms of comfort, this screen has an ergonomic stand, with 90° pivot and 150 mm height adjustment. In addition, this iiyama monitor integrates a 5-megapixel autofocus webcam with privacy shutter and microphone.

Quality display

With a Full HD resolution, the ProLite XUB2490HSUH-B2 screen delivers a detail-rich image. Moreover, with a 100 Hz refresh rate, you benefit from smooth display. This means reduced flicker and less noticeable eye strain. The higher refresh rate also results in smoother transitions between contrasting colors, smoother motion scenes, both in movies and games, and even reduced mouse cursor flicker.

Ease of use

Based on optical tests and research conducted by optometrists and ophthalmologists around the world, Eye Safe certification means that this product provides permanent protection against blue light by reducing high-energy blue light while keeping color performance intact. It also meets the requirements of Eye Comfort certification, which confirms that the product reduces blue light and does not cause flicker, in order to protect the eyes and preserve the user's vision, and to allow the user to change position without compromising visual image quality. Thanks to the ergonomic stand, including a pivot function and 150 mm height adjustment, this model lets you define the ideal screen position according to your needs and preferences.

High-quality product and adjustable as desired

My main monitor since the beginning of this year connected to a laptop. The setup is ideal:
    - 3 integrated USB3 ports (a great addition given the low number of ports on recent laptops)
    - 1 HDMI port (standard)
    - 1 jack port: perfect for plugging in a mic or connecting headphones
    - 1 integrated webcam (the reason for my purchase): wide-angle, perfect for video calls with several people behind the screen
    - 1 microphone: quite average (but you can’t ask too much)
The screen is adjustable in portrait or landscape mode, swivels and is height-adjustable, with several settings (including blue light filters).
In summary: for office work, multimedia, gaming (but not competitive as it’s limited to 100 Hz) and more.
Very satisfied after 2 months of use
