A processor that does the job without being extraordinary, where the bottom hurts is the turbo mode that is triggered all the time for no reason, which obviously increases the temperatures, in winter it's fine but in summer, so I put two stars.
Bought and installed on an ASRock Jupiter H470 barebone to replace a Pentium Gold G6400 which was too limited for numerical calculation.
This processor is excellent for multitasking, the fluidity is really very good under Linux Mint 20.2 Cinnamon. On MATLAB, with the Parallel Computing Toolbox, the processor works wonders with the 6 cores at 3.3 GHz running in parallel. I didn't test the fan that came with the processor, as the barebone fan is responsible for dissipating the thermal energy generated by the CPU (when it's running at full speed, the temperature rises to 60°C, whereas for office use, the temperature is 40-45°C).
The graphics chipset does a good job of playing high-resolution videos in full screen mode. A little jerky for some games (but if you adjust the graphics level you'll get by without any problems).

The performance of the processor is amazing, it's a real change from the I3 I've been using for almost 10 years, I don't regret this purchase. I'm very happy with the performance of the processor, and despite the standard fan, it is very quiet, with a temperature of around 35° and 38° for office type tasks. Thanks
New generation CPU LGA1200 works well for office use and small programs without OC. Temperature between 32° and 37° with the INTEL fan.

Under win 10 around 2004 I have stability problems when using XMP (blue screen). I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea.
