Superb screen in terms of refresh rate and speed of response, colour vibrancy and all the different modes possible (anti motion blur, hdcr, sync etc)
It has 3 usb ports on the side, and a cable included to manage all the options via their Gaming OSD software.
It's true that it's a big price to pay but it's worth it :)
I use it on many different games such as Apex legends, gta 5, league of legends and even the recent resident evil village!
I've had this screen for about 10 days now and I'm delighted with it, I'm a competitive gamer.
I've gone from an LG 27GL850-B to this MSI MAG251RX, and I'm happy with it.
The good points :
- IPS panel (colours are really nice, reliable)
- The response time is excellent
- The 240Hz is a little extra, but you need the right configuration.
- The design of the screen (sober, small stand, it's great, doesn't take up much space)
The negative points (to quibble) :
- The OSD application that can only be opened if you are plugged into USB-A
- The packaging, it's a shame to have just the box from the MSI factory.
Conclusion: this is a perfect screen for any gamer, the IPS panel does its job well, I don't have any light leakage at least perceptible to my eyes. I recommend this screen 100%.

I highly recommend it.
My previous Gamer monitor was an Acer Predator in 144Hz with burnt colours and narrow viewing angles.
I ended up being seduced by this MSI 240Hz monitor with its many promises.
The basic screen is very good and the colorimetry is very good.
In HDR the colours are a bit flashier under Windows but a well optimised video for HDR looks very good. We are not at the same level as a modern TV (here the HDR is limited to 400 and I compare with a Panasonic OLED HDR...) but it remains very correct and largely better than the SDR.
As far as gaming is concerned, I mainly play FPS (Apex at the moment). The Gsync compatibility works perfectly even at 240Hz. It feels really smooth.
I tested the Human Benchmark Reaction Time and went from an average reaction time of 180ms with my old 144Hz monitor to 160ms with the MSI. In games you can feel the difference and I manage to be more responsive than my opponents, leaving me with the impression that they are slow to react.
I am therefore very satisfied with this screen despite its high price (hence the half star)
