I was able to install my computer in a spare room in the basement of my house. My internet box is in my living room with the ORBI base and I installed the satellite in my basement room. I get the maximum available bandwidth. It's great, but the price is a problem. 800? and even 900? I just saw. It's very or very expensive I think.
Product works well but not perfect
On the other hand disappointing LDLC service we tried during the confinement another inefficient router that LDLC did not want to take back despite buying this one much more expensive
Does TAF really well.
The internet is smooth, the setup is easy. I'm really happy with my purchase. I can finally connect all my wifi devices simultaneously!
However, I have had power cuts. When I return, the "modem" part stays on with a purple light. This has no impact on the use, but I have to restart the whole system to turn it off (normal use).
Another problem I have noticed is that I have a Sonos Move. I have a Sonos Move and sometimes I move around with it. If I move and it switches from the modem connection to the satellite, the music cuts out... I don't know if the problem is due to the Netgear or to the Sonos speaker.
I don't know if the problem is due to the Netgear or the Sonos speaker, but it's all down to detail. It's expensive, but I don't regret my purchase.
