The drive was installed on an old PC as a file sharing server and was recognized by the BIOS without any problems. The OS installed is a linux debian 10.7. The installation went well.This drive gives a new lease of life to this machine.I recommend.
I use it on a laptop with a 2.4ghz core I3 and a 64bit OS (so a bit old) and what a speed compared to the mechanical disk! and of course no more noise or vibration linked to the hard disk...Perfect
I don't trust this 36 gram pen to store sensitive data. But it is very good for installing games.
Note that all the vocabulary on the packaging and the LDLC website is misleading. The actual size of the volume is 232.83 GB, i.e. "250 GiB" and not "250 GB/GB".
It is a shame to have ordered an MLC SSD and to receive a 3D Nand TLC SSD...
The note does not reflect the quality of the drive but the wrongness of this article.

I ordered a WD Blue 250GB SSD with MLC technology (see technical description) and received a 3D NAND drive. Given its modest price I did not ask for a replacement.
The 3D NAND is NOT MLC, the disk works well BUT for the life span we will see with use. It's a pity that WD (or LDLC?) displays ambiguous technical descriptions.
How nice it is to boot on an SSD instead of a good old HDD. Enough space for Windows 10 and software. Mounted in a Dell inspiron 17r 7720se.
Perfect, received quickly installed and working. Faster than the old one. Thanks LDLC. I recommend it.
