Used to replace the hard disk of an old computer that had been struggling since the switch to Windows 10 and then 11. You can really see the difference!
I've been using it for a year as a windows system drive for office use, but the SSD is starting to show signs of weakness with sectors that are no longer addressable.
I'm not able to clone this SSD to another SSD of the same size (1TB) because the WD is 1MB larger than the other 1TB SSDs.
So I had to take a 2TB SSD to perform the cloning operation, which does not have the same cost.
Frankly I wouldn't take a new WD SSD.
The product was just what I was looking for.
The SSD is well made, ideal for booting up and working in the Windows 11 environment.
The product corresponds to my expectations, I am very satisfied. The delivery is very fast.

I have an old Aspire One Celeron that I use for travel and troubleshooting. It was under Debian 8. I wanted to upgrade it to Debian 11 but without taking any risks or getting into trouble. So I replaced the old mechanical disk by this SSD model. This disk was immediately recognized by the bios, without any adjustment, it was also immediately identified during the installation of Debian 11. So no worries. In use it does not heat up, is obviously silent, nothing to complain about.
By adding this hard drive to an old PC, there is more time to make coffee !!!! Much faster start-up of Windows (45 seconds vs. 2.5m). This hard drive allows for faster internet access, word processing and small games for a small price and large capacity.
As a system disk with a new W10, it works very well and very fast. You can keep a mechanical disk for internal storage.
My setup was getting a bit slow and the HDD was giving up the ghost: disk error, screen freeze, data transfer interrupted. When it was not possible to do otherwise, I installed the SDD WD Green 120GO in a few seconds in my master tower Cooler Cosmos of 2008 (if I remember well) equipped with a good old Intel Core2 Extreme X9650 @ 3.00GHz with 8 GO of RAM) and made a complete installation with a usb key as a support for installing windows 10. Here I am, the happy owner of a PC that is as fluid as the first day.
After a few weeks of use, one word: Perfect!
works great, installed Windows 10 on it, no problem, recognized right away. i recommend.
