Moving from my separate vintage components to this great toy! It is indeed necessary to take time to explore the instructions (to be downloaded from Marantz), the possibilities are wide! What a pleasure for example to walk on you tube on computer with a beautiful associated sound! (via airplay or bluetooth). As for the sound and speakers, I have old Moscade 502 that I decided to keep. But this amplifier did not modify my perception, namely speakers with a very nice sound, clear, precise, but which misses a little too much bass, even if it is rather logical for bookcase speakers. I then explored the forums and decided to buy some Q acoustics concept 20's. And there I discovered the possibilities of the amp. 2 pairs of speakers connected, with the possibility of separate volume control, to operate one pair of speakers or the other, or both pairs together. The Q acoustics I just bought did not disappoint. The bass is more pronounced, the sound is rounder and denser, but the Moscade 502 lacks some of the detail and finesse of the Moscade 502, especially in the mid-high range. And then I discover the grail....The 2 pairs of speakers together! And the impression that the qualities of both are mutually sublime. A deep, rich sound, full of details... And I think I'll stay like that!
