It converts a computer's USB-C port into a serial RS232 DB9 port with communication port retention. Enjoy a convenient and cost-effective connection solution to serial devices such as point-of-sale terminals, serial modems, industrial equipment and a wide variety of other RS232 peripherals. The adapter is compatible with Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems.
The adapter provides a fast and convenient USB-to-serial solution by storing assigned serial communication port values in non-volatile memory. This allows these same values to be reassigned to the serial port adapter when disconnecting/reconnecting, or when changing USB ports.
