ATEN's UC232B is a single port USB to serial console adapter. This high quality industrial adapter cable is designed to instantly add unique RS-232 console port connectivity for networked devices via a USB port. The adapter is powered via the USB connection.
The UC232B is USB 2.0 compatible and works well with desktop and laptop computers. It can also be used with large embedded computer systems or other specialised applications, such as point-of-sale applications, network equipment, industrial automation systems and native serial transfer devices to provide a convenient connectivity solution. The UC232B converter provides a plug and play solution. Windows, Mac and Linux drivers are included.
