The Raspberry Pi 3 model A incorporates some of the same features as the Pi 3 B, such as the Broadcom BCM2837B0 1.4 GHz quad-core processor, and the more compact size allows for even more projects to be integrated, while maintaining full compatibility with the Pi 3 B/B accessories.

Streamlined connectivityThis new version of the Raspberry Pi 3 has the essential connections and goes straight to the point. The Raspberry Pi 3 A+ offers a 40-pin GPIO header, a CSI camera port, a DSI port for managing a touch screen, as well as an HDMI port and a USB 2.0 connector. Storage can be provided by the presence of a micro-SD drive while the network part is provided in wireless with a module managing Wi-Fi Dual-Band a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 4.2 BLE.
