I had already chosen a Brother 10 years ago and here again I'm not disappointed.
Everything is made of plastic which seems to be of good quality, auto installation, double-sided printing.
No need to pay more for this type of product in my opinion.
the printer is brilliant, nothing to say, completely satisfied
Disappointed by:
the printer cable is not supplied and that's a shame for a big brand like Brother
so I keep all the cables from my old printers, scanners and so on
the original toner supplied when I bought the printer was for 700 pages only,
In truth, I only printed two reams of paper, i.e. 500 pages.
The printer told me that the toner was empty,
I opened it properly and saw that there was still ink in it,
enough for a hundred pages
I tried to deactivate the code to finish the toner but it didn't work.
Surprisingly noisy when it starts printing, but very fast
It's an identical replacement. The previous one was two years old, but it cost more to repair than a new one, which comes with a four-year warranty. The notions of durability and repairability, so often mentioned in the media, remain wishful thinking...
The brother app that manages android and chromebook printing for brother doesn't work for this new model. So no wi-fi. And information not mentioned initially. I'm waiting for an answer from Brother but it's not very serious...
