The EdgeSwitch 12 Fiber combines robustness, performance, low latency and intelligent switching for a perfect network. This switch has 12 SFP ports for a fibre connection - 4 Gb/s ports and 8 ports that can support 100 Mb/s. In addition, it has 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports for powerful performance. The EdgeSwitch offers a complete set of Layer 2 and 3 features.

Ubiquiti's EdgeSwitch offers a complete suite of Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols and features to ensure easy and complete routing for your business. As a result, latency is reduced and administration performance is increased without any packet loss.
Non-blocking throughputs can range from 16 Gbps to 32 Gbps overall.


Powerful user interface

The management software (User Interface) is very easy to learn and allows administrators to configure and monitor the hardware through a user-friendly interface. For expert users, a Command-Line Interface (CLI) is available via the serial port, Telnet or SSH.

Thus, you can manage the different switches and various data such as MSTP/RSTP/STP, VLAN, Private VLAN, Voice VLAN, Link Aggregation, DHCP Snooping, IGMP Snooping, TACACS+, RADIUS, 802.1X, MAC Filtering, ACL, DiffServ, CoS, Static Routing, DHCP Server Functionality.
