    Not effective or fit for purpose.

    The fans produce barely any air flow, they are either seriously underpowered or their enclosure is poorly designed as to trap the air.

    No observed change in core temperatures when compared against propping the back of my laptop up off the table with a pencil laid flat to allow easier air intake from the underside vents.

    I presume any reported improvments by others are purely because of this versus any effect of the fans. I will return it and continue to use the pencil instead.

    Just OK

    Unsuitable size for a 17" PC! My 15" barely fits! Rather noisy and the ventilation is quite relative. I did notice a temperature decrease of about 5°C when playing. Nothing exceptional but it keeps its promises for the price. I still note that the quality of manufacture is rather mediocre and that the product is not exactly as presented in the photo on the site. With a 17" PC, the tabs that serve as supports are completely useless and even harm the performance. In short, 3/10 and no more.
