With 10G SFP+ uplink ports, which allow connection to servers equipped with 10G ports, the DGS-1510 series switches are ideally suited for deployment in small to medium-sized businesses. For deployment in medium and large enterprises, they provide a good interconnection between the main switch and the edge switch. With D-Link Green 3.0 technology and conforming to the IEEE 802.3az Ethernet energy efficiency standard, the DGS-1510 Series offers a high level of energy savings and efficiency. It also supports IPv6 management and configuration to keep your network protected after the transition from IPv4 to IPv6.

Additional 10G SFP+ stacking/uplink ports
Up to 6 units, or 288 Gigabit ports, can be configured to create a stack using the optional direct-connect cables, which allow high bandwidth to be achieved on the DGS-1510 Series at a lower cost. Users can mix and match multiple DGS-1510 Series models in a single stack to perform simultaneous configuration, management and troubleshooting with ease.

Flexibility and modularity
The DGS-1510 Series supports virtual stacking with D-Link's Single IP Management (SIM) feature, which allows up to 32 devices to be managed with a single IP address. This simplifies the management of small workgroups or wiring closets, while allowing the network to scale with increasing bandwidth requirements.

Full Layer 2 functionality
These switches are equipped with a full range of Layer 2 features, including IGMP traffic monitoring, port forwarding, tree interconnect and LLDP. In full duplex 2000 Mbps mode, the Gigabit ports serve as a data highway to the servers, with minimal loss during transfer.

Secure your network
D-Link's innovative security engine protects the Switches from tidal waves of traffic due to virus attacks. The Switches also support 802.1X port authentication, to authenticate the network via external RADIUS servers, and have the added feature of ACL.

IPv6-Ready
The DGS-1510 Series supports a variety of IPv6 features, including MLD traffic monitoring, IPv6 ACL/QoS, and IMPBv6, to ensure smooth integration of next-generation networks. In addition, the IPv4/v6 dual-stack feature allows the switch to act as a bridge between IPv4 and IPv6 networks. Finally, the entire DGS-1510 series is IPv6-Ready, Logo Phase 2 certified, ensuring interoperability for IPv6 environments.

Power saving
With D-Link Green 3.0 technology, the DGS-1510 Switches can conserve power without compromising operational performance or functionality. Using the IEEE 802.3az standard, the network automatically reduces its power consumption during low traffic periods without any configuration.
