Convenient to have short cables to go from the RJ45 wall sockets to the network switch. The possibility of having different colours makes it easier to follow the network, to know which computers or printers are connected to which sockets of the switch.
Four computers and four printers in our home network.
With a Gigabit network, Gigabit switch, large files can be transferred at 120Mb/s. These category 7 cables support this without any problems.
I was not able to test the properties of category 7 (40Gb/s speed) as my network was limited to 1Gb/s.
But no worries: all data rates reach their maximum peak on all devices connected via these cables.
The little extra: the colour which makes it easier to see who is connected to the switch...
