Unreliable keyboard
I've had it for 4 years with very moderate use and yet it's almost unusable because the SHIFT and CAPSLOCK keys activate by themselves and the numeric keypad deactivates by itself...
The bugs started about 1 year ago...
The pointer sometimes takes a long time to respond if you use the mouse quickly and frequently. Automatically repeating letters is completely useless and, above all, annoying. A good learning curve is therefore essential. There are some very positive points, however: the keys are well-sized and very pleasant to use; the keyboard takes up a lot of space and is of the AZERTY!!!!!! type, as well as being very light. I think that with a little more experience and hindsight, everything will be fine.
This little set is very practical.
The materials are a little light, but this benefits the aesthetics: we have a thin and elegant product.
Beware, it is really very compact!
If you like Imac keyboards, you will love this one ! :)
Please note that despite what it says in the description this item is NOT Raspberry Pi compatible.
I had a bitter experience with this and had to return the product (refunded without shipping costs ...).
Tested under Raspberry Pi OS Bullseye and Buster.
The keyboard is not usable within 1 meter of the receiver. The latency is huge. In short, keyboard/mouse unusable.
Not tested under Windows but I suspect it is the same!
In short, don't bother
The smile is no problem.
The keyboard, on the other hand, does what it wants to do. It is often complicated to write correctly. The keyboard is very difficult to write correctly. It is very difficult when you have to correct all the words by removing the triple or quadruple letter in each word. Of course when you have to delete the extra letters it's the delete key that does the multi-typing and deletes more than expected.
I thought that changing the batteries would solve the problem, but no. The port is not the issue, I have less than 50 cm between the key and the keyboard with only a small board between the 2.
