LTO-4 Ultrium: compact and fast
It takes only 4.2 seconds to back up 1 GB of data with the HP StorageWorks LTO-4 Ultrium tape drive. The increase in capacity is such that the number of storage media required to back up a data set is reduced by 75% compared to LTO-2 technology.

Integrated encryption
With HP LTO-4 Ultrium, AES encryption with 256-bit key becomes an integral part of everyday backup and archiving, not a special feature requiring additional devices, resources and costs.
