Very happy with the product and its installation for daily backup (on a Synology NAS) of a Synology NAS.
I only regret that the seller to whom I explained the use did not inform me that Synology would automatically reserve 4 To of space for ITS operation. If I had known in advance I would have taken a disk of slightly larger size (24 To).
Otherwise, no problem with this DD.
Complete satisfaction so far with this Seagate series, let's hope they last as long as some WD that are already 10 years old!
Not much noise in my opinion, but that remains subjective.
Fulfills its role perfectly. Completely fast and powerful for personal and semi-professional use (storage only of documents nothing particularly heavy)
Disks similar to those found in a data centre. Designed to run 24/7, they are reliable but can be a bit noisy if you do a lot of reading/writing.

Delivery took longer than expected, but that was due to bad weather (snow).
The NAS is very easy to install and the hard drives seem to be working perfectly.
I still need to figure out how to optimise transfer rates, but I'm coming from an old 4-bay QNAP from 2009... the update is very welcome (especially in terms of software features such as remote control).
Very good Seagate Ironwolf Pro 12TB hard drive for a Ugreen NAS. Considering buying the same ones again. With the same size.
I ordered from ldlc because the delivery time seemed fast compared to other competitors. Unfortunately, the drive for my NAS won't run SMART tests or join a RAID 5 drive pool (error messages). It's a shame for me. Return to sender.

Perfect delivery Ldlc supplies a new and secure hard drive. On my side I test them on my two nas a qnap ts-464 and a synology ds1821+ it is well recognized with no ceiling 27,29 to if it can help people ^^

Installed (x2) in a QNAP TS-264 8G NAS, fully recognised, RAID 1. Fast and problem-free volume resizing. To be seen over time, my previous Seagate HDDs (non Pro and not dedicated to NAS) have lasted between 8 and 14 years.
Hard drive that does the job! It's a shame it's a bit noisy, especially when it's writing... But nothing too disturbing! Very satisfied!
I ordered several SINs.
The packaging was perfect and I received them very quickly. I received confirmation of payment almost immediately.
RAS
I paid for 18TB but in the end there's only 16TB usable. The drive is functional but a bit noisy when it's operating.
To sum up: After returning the first one, which refused to start up, and waiting for it to become available, I ordered a second one, which also turned out to be out of order (same symptoms as the first). Returned and sent a third: better packed (with crumpled paper) than the first 2, this one started normally. Thank you LDLC for your reactivity.
Very fast delivery, parcel OK, but the disk is out of order: the disk won't start, a regular "blip" can be heard and the PC won't boot either. At this price, you'd expect better reliability.
Received in 2 days, so delivery was fast and all 3 hard drives worked!
I'd recommend this site, it's a serious one!
