This processor perfectly meets my PC upgrade needs. It fits into the motherboard as expected and its capabilities improve my daily life. Not too power-hungry, an i5 suits me and is more than enough for optimal gaming or working conditions.

Upgraded from an i5-6600, the performance gap is a joy!
I bought this processor during an offer with an interesting discount despite being a bit worried due to the generation that had a lot of problems.
I fitted it by replacing the motherboard retention system with a Thermal Grizzly contact frame to protect it from one of the problems (pressure tends to bend the processor slightly over time).
After several months, I haven't had any problems but I don't use it in my main PC so it's not often used to its full potential.

Purchased to replace my i5-8600K, which was spitting out its lungs on the latest games.
I'm rediscovering these games thanks to the performance gains. No more laggs when a certain number of characters have to be displayed on screen.
The drivers installed themselves along with those on the motherboard. I've got a very good ventirad, but I was told that the temperature would be worse: 30 degrees idle and 55 max in game.
