Very good mouse, but not quite as good as its predecessor...
After 10 years of flawless operation, my Logitech G502 Proteus started showing deal-breaking signs of fatigue. So I bought this G502X, with identical features apart from a few details.
It has the same qualities as its predecessor (many configurable buttons that are easy to reach and great precision), but a few things are a step down: a thin and clearly fragile cable instead of the braided cable, no weights to adjust the feel in the hand, the PC interface is less clear than before and more resource-hungry.
There is also this odd feeling in its tracking, despite fine sensitivity adjustment. At the time, these little aspects taken together are a bit disappointing.
It is a high-quality product, perfect for gaming as well as office use, and if it is as durable as the old model, it is a very worthwhile investment, with what I believe is unbeatable value for money. But I had to point out these few small flaws.
