very good processor
paired with an asus x570 prime-p motherboard and a noctua nhu12a, it works really well.
temperature 30 in idle and 70 in maximum load.

Order received fairly quickly despite the distance (DOM). +++
I've been trying to get this processor to work at its peak for 6 months, without success!
It's got a lot going for it !!!!
I recommend it 100% !!!
Ideal for running several VM's and working on other applications at the same time, it's fluid...
Coupled with the famous Noctua NH D15 in a Fractal Torrent tower: TPD of 69 maximum, it's just the best!
I highly recommend it to people like me who use their bike intensively every day.
As a resource-intensive 3D practitioner, I appreciate my new, much shorter rendering times with my AMD RYSEN 9 processor.
Product received in one week in Reunion, packaging undamaged. Excellent price compared to those found on the island. Bravo LDLC!
I do 3d animation and my computer is on all day. It's less power hungry than its I9 competitor and just as good if not better. On top of that, the price is lower. For me, there is no photo, I am very satisfied.
Very quickly received like all my orders, I will continue to order from LDLC which remains for me the best and also at the new price
This is the second time in my life that I have used an AMD processor, the first was an AMD Athlon Thunderbird 900 Mhz, that's how far back it goes!
It's also without transition that I went from machines with 2 or 4 cores (yes, I'm a fan of the ten-year migration) to a 12-core beast. Needless to say, the difference can be felt...
But let's say it anyway: what a comfort!
Whether it's for data processing, browsing, gaming... everything is so fluid, so fast. I don't have to worry about what I can run at the same time, I know that everything will be taken care of without problems.
And for a processor of this power, it doesn't heat up that much and above all its consumption is very controlled (between 30 and 90W most of the time), which is the big strength of AMD processors of this generation.
In short, I've been using it for almost 9 months, and I have no regrets about this choice of processor, which will most certainly accompany me for many years to come.
This processor is overpowered compared to what I was used to, and having 12 cores instead of 4 or 6 is beyond comparison. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use a watercooler or an aircooler.
A processor with an affordable price that does its job and more without getting tired or out of breath. I've been using AMD only now for a few years and it's great to see that AMD can compete with Intel or NVIDIA with much more affordable and correct prices for its customers.
Coupled with the Smart Access Memory, it's a real pleasure.
Note that the box of the processor is much smaller than normal because there is simply no fan provided, so it currently runs with a water cooling from Corsair and its temperatures are more than excellent.
I can only recommend buying it. Moving from a Ryzen 5 3600X to this one, the performance is immediately noticeable, it's impressive and very pleasant feeling.
I bought this processor for professional needs, for development, especially in embedded.
It saves me a lot of precious time, it's really a good investment!
Even when streaming, encoding, playing, filming the screen I'm at 20% usage, I don't think I've ever had any problems with it, it's a treat.
Overwatch between 1 and 3% usage
bf 5 between 16 and 20%.
I hope it will last me 10 years too .....
Mounted on an ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR VIII DARK HERO motherboard and cooled by watercooling NZXT Kraken X63, As said in the data sheet on the games at the top and to do video processing, 3D software ect ... have feel immediately the power against the 12 core. I'm very happy with it (it's a change from my AMD FX 8350).
Need a solid watercooling, it gets pretty hot.
With a 3090 it runs everything in 4k 120hz HDR cleanly.
The processor runs at 3.8ghz on all cores, and 4.8ghz on a single core in single thread tasks or on some applications
With a maximum usage of 20% in games, this Ryzen is a powerhouse.
I haven't found an application that can bring it to its knees, even in MOA.
I bought this to replace my 3700X and I can clearly feel the difference with the ryzen 5000's. Excellent processor despite its price but you are served with power.
Just installed without any manoeuvre the frequency will not go up more than 4400 on my side, and heats up to 65-70° in game because the base voltage can go up to 1.4v + (normal with amd ryzen) but After some small test of manual overclock thanks to the application AMD Ryzen Master it is a real pleasure to reach 4,750ghz of frequency with only 1.35 volt and stable! The processor doesn't heat up at all in game (50-60° max) and delivers great performance, I see a net improvement of +80 to +150 fps on some big games when testing with low graphics card usage to push the processor to the maximum.
Very impressive progress at AMD. I'm very pleased with the quality of the product.
The processor works as expected, on production tools the gain in terms of threading and core is appreciable even if it is not at the level of the 5950X but in terms of value for money and availability it was ideal.
The only downside is that you need an excellent aircooler such as noctua and/or watercooling in AIB or custom, it will heat up a bit, I'm at 40 degrees at idle and 75 degrees at peak.
I don't know what to say, this is the best processor I've ever owned. Its gaming performance is clearly monstrous. I'm fully satisfied with its maximum frequency, it says 4.8GHz but I'm happy to go up to 5Ghz when gaming. I coupled it with a 3080 evga Ftw3 ultra and it's the best.
I've been using it with a 3080 evga Ftw3 ultra and it's the best I've seen.
Clearly the best processor I've ever had.
I do a lot of video editing and gaming and I can tell you that it is worth the 10/10 rating.
The video editing, especially 4k, is so smooth that I've never experienced before, the preview is done without any freeze even with very advanced color correction, effects and other.
The 5900x is never out of breath in games too, I reach 55-60% usage at the most (even in streams).
I honestly find it much more interesting than the R7 5800X for a hundred euros more (I got it for 650).
If you are looking for a versatile processor for heavy applications and gaming, this is clearly the one for you.
