Much more ergonomic than the basic joycons when you use the 2 joycons together with the stand, especially the sticks, but I have trouble drifting quite often and the battery really isn't that great.
Also, in 2-stick mode, it's clearly less practical than the joycons, but it's still a good and cheaper alternative.
Thank you for the development of these controllers!!!! Nintendo's price is clearly out of line !!! The ergonomy is very good, almost better, the quality of the buttons is good, we keep the Bluetooth function and on top of that it's guaranteed for 3 years !!!! At this price, there's no need to hesitate !!! We've been testing it for 2 months and so far we're very happy with it!
I was a bit skeptical at first but after 2 months of use, nothing to say, very comfortable, easy to handle (even if at first glance, the joystick that protrudes much more than on the joycons disturbs a little but you get used to it very quickly and in the end it's much more ergonomic.
The product is very effective on games like rocket league, SBU, FPS, etc.
I recommend it to all those who are tired of the Joycon drift ;)
Bought as a gift for a lucky Nintendo Switch owner, huge disappointment when he received it last week: brand new, it has the same bug as the original controller, the famous "Joy-Con Drift".
A purchase for nothing, and a gift that flops :(
I'm very happy with this controller, it gives a new ergonomics to the switch, and also acts as an extra controller.
Despite the lack of reviews, I decided to test these ROG controllers, and I can say that I am not disappointed.
The ergonomics are clearly better when using the switch in handheld mode. On a game like Zelda where you can spend hours without seeing the time pass, the classic controllers quickly hurt in the palm of the hand with ants that go with it. Here nothing like that, it holds well in the hand and the finish is quite good.
I thought that in contrast, the ergonomics were going to be worse in single player joysticks (like Mario Party), but in reality it's similar to or just below the classic joysticks. You don't need to add the extra bit to make it something that fits in your hand, as they're big enough from the start.
When used in controller mode with the included stand, it is similar in many ways to an xbox controller in terms of shape and feel, which is not bad.
The only downside that brings it down to a 9 and not a 10 for me is the vibrations. The only downside is that the vibrations are too powerful or triggered more often than with the basic joysticks.
I've been using it for a month now and nothing to report for the moment, I'll update this post or make a new one if I ever encounter problems with it :)
