Excellent product... as long as the button contacts work. I'm on my third Logitech trackball and the problem is always the same: the left button starts not working properly after two or three years. There are plenty of resources on the internet to try and fix them, but it shouldn't be necessary!
Unfortunately I haven't found an alternative...
As I have a Logitech M570 trackball, I bought the MX ERGO version for professional use.
The MX is very pleasant in the hand and offers more comfort.
Excellent trackball!!! The grip is intuitive. Seems to be a solid construction. We'll have to see how it performs over time. I'm not disappointed yet.
The battery lasts an incredible amount of time, weeks! and in semi-intensive use.
I don't give it 10/10 because I want it to do even better....
I had wrist pains because of my professional activity (dev), after a day of work, I was used to switch from a classic mouse to this one without any problem.
No installation issues, I didn't have to do anything under Linux or Windows 10
The whole thing looks solid and holds well in the hand.
Having only used conventional mice before, I took the risk of trying this one.
From the very first time I used it, it was easy to get the hang of. The ergonomics of the mouse help.
It will take me some time to get used to the trackball: the up and down movements are still unusual for my thumb, but it should come to that :)
The mobile base surprised me, I was expecting a more "mechanical" system. It is in fact (solidly) magnetised and rests on a pivot,
The one point of improvement I can see: unlike other Logitech mice, there is no "freewheel" mode for the wheel. It's not necessary, but it's a comfort.
As the title says, the mouse is missing a slot to put the small USB -> bluetooth adapter.
Indeed, as it is very small, it is easily lost. And many laptops already have bluetooth, so there is no need for them to use this small adapter that would anyway drain the battery of the laptop, the trackball is directly received and recognized as a bluetooth mouse.
Works under Linux and Windows of course.
This costs 1 star ... otherwise very good.

This is already my third Logitech trackball. My first wireless one. And each time, no disappointment.
The big plus of this model: the buttons that allow for some very nice features.
The one that allows you to switch between normal mode and a mode that slows down the cursor when a movement requires a lot of precision and the one that allows you to share the mouse between several computers.
As I said, it's all good.
