Taken to upgrade from a re455, the throughput is much better. The operation is very stable and the range is good in a two-storey house with 65m² of floor space. Be careful with the placement of the access point and the choice of channels.
Hi, I use it mainly in repeater mode to switch off two networks.
Firmware update necessary, otherwise regular network loss with the latest version. The installation of the firmware is not complicated when you take the time to read the few lines of explanation on the brand's website.
Half a star less for the reason explained above, it should be updated upstream and not by the user when the defect is known.
Very good product! efficient, practical and fast! no knowledge required for installation, well done! I would recommend this product, but it is a bit thicker and heavier than the old ones, especially when the socket is near a drawer and you can't open it anymore.
