I probably didn't fully understand the use of this product before I bought it, but when I tried it, it proved to be very difficult to implement as a repeater, which is what it is supposed to do according to the title.
I was looking to use it as an access point to extend the area covered by WiFi in my crappy house, but have yet to get it right.

Good Wi-Fi repeater. Replaces a Netgear repeater that is a bit weak with age (over 10 years old). Easy to configure. However, you have to restart the phone's wifi after connecting to another network. Repeater connected in wifi at more than 100 meters (in a garden) from a devolo transmitter connected in PLC.
Amplifies impeccably the wifi of my Bbox (go through the administration interface because no WPS button).
The wifi is programmed to work only on certain time slots and the device reconnects itself without any problem and without any external intervention.
The Devolo dLAN 1200 Wi-Fi AC adapter (9790) is a good way to expand your Internet network. It can easily be added to my existing configuration of 3 Devolo dLAN 1200.
Read the instructions carefully when connecting it to your box.

The only fault is that you have to switch the phone's Wi-Fi off and on again when you move to another area to hang up the Internet.
