Despite the thick walls and floors of my very, very old house, it works without a hitch! And I was able to connect via the two networks it takes + a cable connected to my pc, just perfect!

It is easy to use. But be sure to read the manual, it explains how to switch from repeater mode (network coverage extension) to WAP mode (wifi access point) for which I bought it.
For the more fussy, the web interface allows you to easily manage the security and the two frequency ranges.
In short, a real winner.
Order arrived quickly.
Quickly installed. The signal reaches 3/4 of the third floor in 2.4Ghz not 5Ghz. The product does its job.
Like all of its competitors the network extension is done by creating 2 new networks, one for each frequency (2.4Ghz and 5Ghz). But this is not a problem because you can specify the same name (SSID) for both extensions and the original network. So the 3 networks will be seen as one network by all devices.
I have extended my Freebox Revolution Wifi network with this Netgear EX6130 without much problem. The most difficult thing is that I have MAC filtering activated on my Freebox Wifi network. The EX6130 generates a new MAC address for each device that connects to it. This address is said to be virtual but it is the one that is seen by the box. I had to add the virtual @MAC of all my devices in the configuration of the Freebox.
To see the virtual @MAC, you have to go to the EX6130 administration web console.
Impossible to install, mix of 2.4G and 5Gh networks. No coherent error message, simplistic instructions and a very limited support website.
Even by cable, no connection possible.
Result: this product is good for the bin
I ordered this repeater because it was advertised as a repeater or access point, so 2 modes are possible. In fact in repeater mode, this one creates a new network using your existing network, I wanted a product that amplifies my network while remaining transparent, it is missed, I am obliged to connect my monitoring system to this new network, which implies to dismount everything, reparameterize one by one on this new network, and reinstall everything...
Good product but it can be temperamental when installed. I installed it on a BBOX2 with the connection via WPS mode. Ten minutes later everything was working. 2 days later I switched to the BBOX3. Despite 1h30 of effort with the WPS mode, the repeater connected and disconnected permanently (password error). I finally opted for the manual configuration and everything went normally. Disadvantage, it is necessary to create an account at Netgear. Since then, no more problems.
Could not install the product. It does not connect to my wifi network. I followed the instructions. I am very disappointed.
I had searched for a long time and I thought this would be a good solution. The system could be much more user friendly. Frankly, I don't understand why they don't make a little more effort to make this product easy to install.

I ordered this product and installed it without too much trouble, but I didn't take into account the very old construction of my house (70 year old wall). I have been using it for some time now and it is very easy to use.
This repeater becomes useless and I am very upset.
I'm going to explore another possibility...
