Noctua NF-A14: a good reference, but only on paper... Ordered to replace an ageing ANTEC tower fan that was starting to vibrate.
But as soon as I switched it on, I already missed the original fan because of the noise generated by this Noctua.
Perhaps an attenuator to reduce the rotation speed a little would have solved the problem, but this product doesn't have one.
Looking for something really quiet? Skip it ...
6 examples bought at once in 2019 to equip the beast. They haven't moved and are here to stay until I retire. It's Noctua. It's good stuff. Never disappointed.
Quiet and robust. It comes with two types of fastener (screw or rubber fastener) and several types of connector, including a 'Y' connector cable, which can really come in handy when you're short of free pins.
Quiet, powerful, durable, a classic and a sure thing. You can never go wrong with a Noctua fan.
The air intake and exhaust capacity when they are running at 100% is pretty crazy: they are noisy at that speed though, I keep them at about 60% constant. I use them at locker entry and exit.
I bought 5 of these for my Meshify S2 housing. Totally silent. I start to hear them slightly at around 60% charge. I am very happy with them.
I mounted 2 fans on each side of the case to ensure airflow with the speed set to minimum. They provide sufficient airflow in near silence. In gaming, the speed increases to keep the case cool but the noise is still contained. Noctua does not disappoint.
I love the Noctura fans, I have 4 different models, all are great.
They are QUALITY fans and VERY QUIET with all the necessary accessories.
This brand doesn't do bling-bling RGB etc... but focuses on performance, and acoustic comfort. I hope it lasts...

Excellent fans, much quieter than the REDUX series (Noctua NF-P14s Redux-1500 PWM) which have a lot of air blowing noise from 1000 rpm.
Complete kit with damper, Y, extension. Very good.
Bought in duplicate to replace the 2 original front fans (Zalman Z9 Neo case), they do their job very well.
In addition, the package is really good, all accessories are included, even the 4 pins splitter (useful in my case).
However, I put 1 star less because although announced as silent, they are still slightly noisy beyond 1000 rpm. I'm looking for efficiency and silence, I'm a bit disappointed...
I'm not sure what to say about LDLC.com. It's always very serious about delivery times and conditions.
On a good motherboard, these PWM fans are a treat! A golden silence that is well worth the price.
The assembly is easy and the bundle supplied is always top notch.
The airflow is high and controlled, which is often a reason for competitors to increase the noise level. I recommend this exceptional fan to all.
I already had, for 4 years, 3 Noctua fans in my case. Bought this one for a top-down fan. Once the case is closed, the whole thing is practically inaudible. What more could you ask for?
I bought this fan to change the fans of my corsair H110i Gtx watercooler as they make a lot of noise over time. I had to make a choice and I'm not disappointed, the ventilation rate is maybe a little lower than the corsair sp140, but they are inaudible!!! and I say inaudible for a pc silence, throw yourself on it ^^
I picked up three of these to replace my original (mastercase) fans and I am clearly not disappointed. Between the silence and the significant increase in airflow I couldn't be more pleased.
As I expected on :

in a FRACTAL DEFINE R5 + 2 NF-A14PWM front mounted (2 original fans extracted, one left in place, the other missur the top) + 1 NH-H14S + second NF-A15PWM
To be seen in time but for the moment not disappointed with 2 x NF-S 12-1200 and 1 x NF-S 12A FLX.

I chose 2 fans to mount on a 280mm radiator of my H110i as they are PWM.
They are perfectly quiet when the CPU is not working a lot (movie, internet...) and become particularly efficient in games and I can't get to 60°.
But there is a noise that is generated when you have the fans at 100% but largely less noisy than the original on the h110i gt.
A good fan on a Phantek Pro Window. Connected to a rheobus, almost inaudible in normal operation. I force the rotation speed in 3d rendering to ensure a good cooling, and there, unfortunately, it is quite audible. But it's still a very good product.
You can't beat this 140mm fan. Perfect for getting as much air out as possible in silence. I wanted a tower with a minimum of noise and without the Noctua fans this is impossible.
