I bought them to replace the original fans in my case and my 240 mm AIO CPU Watercooling.
What I can say is that the full-load temperature (under OCCT) of my Amd Ryzen 7 9800x3d went from 93°C to 87°C. That’s great. In these conditions you can’t expect silence; efficiency is what matters.
For them to be quiet at idle, I made sure they run at around 1500 RPM for the case ones and 1700 for the ones on the CPU side. Be careful not to lower this setting too much, because your old-school hard drives could be affected by the case’s ambient temperature if they are in a slot that’s too confined.
My bad setting made my drives go over 50°C, which was far too hot.
