I don't necessarily use all its features, but it feels comfortable in the hand and does its job without any issues.
Excellent mouse, very precise, comfortable and pleasant to use every day as well as for gaming. The build quality is excellent, and I am really satisfied with my purchase.
Bought to replace my G502, which lasted me 10 years, this G502x pales in comparison: it feels as "cheap" as possible and is clearly on par with other mice costing half as much.
I absolutely wanted to keep the free-scrolling feature, which is why I went with a G series again, but even the scroll wheel is on par with the rest...
In short, steer clear: the value for money is clearly no longer there, even with the -25% promotion I was able to benefit from...
After 10 years of flawless operation, my Logitech G502 Proteus started showing deal-breaking signs of fatigue. So I bought this G502X, with identical features apart from a few details.
It has the same qualities as its predecessor (many configurable buttons that are easy to reach and great precision), but a few things are a step down: a thin and clearly fragile cable instead of the braided cable, no weights to adjust the feel in the hand, the PC interface is less clear than before and more resource-hungry.
There is also this odd feeling in its tracking, despite fine sensitivity adjustment. At the time, these little aspects taken together are a bit disappointing.
It is a high-quality product, perfect for gaming as well as office use, and if it is as durable as the old model, it is a very worthwhile investment, with what I believe is unbeatable value for money. But I had to point out these few small flaws.
Incredible mouse, I've had it for 2 years and still no problems, the customization is great thanks to the software.
