With the MSX 10, Cambridge Audio combines clarity, balance and soundstage in a satellite speaker measuring just 79 x 79 x 97 mm. Designed to create true channel separation without taking up space in the room, it naturally fits on a shelf, piece of furniture, stand or directly on the wall. Used as a stereo pair or integrated into a multichannel home cinema system, this compact speaker delivers rich, detailed sound, with precise midrange and crisp treble. Its elegant matte finish, available in black or white, and understated lines allow it to blend harmoniously into contemporary interiors.
BMR technology: immersive 180° sound dispersion
At the heart of the MSX 10 is a 2.25-inch full-range BMR driver. The Balanced Mode Radiator technology combines the operation of a dynamic driver with sound dispersion through bending waves to distribute sound evenly throughout the room. Unlike traditional compact speakers, which are primarily front-facing, the MSX 10 offers dispersion of up to 180°. The listening area is therefore much wider: music, dialogue and surround effects remain clear and balanced, even when the listener is not positioned directly in front of the speaker. Its frequency response of 150 Hz to 20 kHz helps reproduce essential details with precision.
A flexible, robust and upgradeable design
Designed to deliver greater scale from a compact cabinet, the driver's long-throw design increases acoustic pressure and bass presence while maintaining controlled operation and low distortion. The cabinet also features die-cast aluminium bracing, designed to improve its rigidity and long-term reliability. Supplied with a wall mount and rubber feet, the MSX 10 easily adapts to different installation constraints. Its 8-ohm impedance and compatibility with 25 to 200 W amplifiers make it easy to integrate into a stereo or surround system. It can also be paired with an MSX Sub 200 or MSX Sub 300 subwoofer for deeper bass and a more cinematic presentation.
