The Asus RP-AX50 effectively extends the range of your wireless network to provide a stable connection even in areas that were previously poorly covered. Compatible with the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), this dual-band AX1500 repeater delivers an aggregated throughput of up to 1501 Mb/s: 1,201 Mb/s on the 5 GHz band and 300 Mb/s on the 2.4 GHz band. It therefore offers the speed, capacity and low latency needed for streaming, video games and home automation devices. Asus announces coverage extension of up to 2,000 square feet, or around 186 m², to better distribute Wi-Fi throughout the home.
Optimized connectivity for all your devices
Thanks to its 2 x 2 configuration on the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands, the RP-AX50 ensures fast and consistent wireless communication. OFDMA technology improves network efficiency when multiple devices are connected simultaneously, resulting in lower latency and better resource allocation. Two external antennas help extend the signal, while the ability to keep a single network name Wi-Fi makes roaming between the different covered areas easier. It is also possible to assign a separate SSID to each band in order to organize connections according to usage.
Versatile, compatible and secure
The RP-AX50 works with practically all Wi-Fi routers, modems and wired routers or gateways available on the market: having an ASUS router is therefore not essential. Its repeater mode extends an existing network without additional cabling, while its access point mode lets you create a Wi-Fi access from an Ethernet connection. Its Gigabit network port can also accommodate a wired device. Finally, support for WPA3-Personal, WPA2, WPA and WPS protocols protects connections while simplifying installation.
