ROG Nebula HDR Display
Your laptop screen is a window to new worlds, which is why ASUS has chosen the very best on their ROG Strix SCAR 18. This ROG Nebula HDR display with Mini LED technology offers over 2,000 dimming zones, a maximum brightness of 1200 nits and beautiful colours thanks to 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 colour space. The SCAR 18 G835 has also been enhanced with an all-new ACR double coating, which reduces glare and improves contrast by 4.5 times for incredibly vivid colours. Combined with the ASUS Nebula HDR Engine, this display ensures that all games and movies really come to life. The 240Hz refresh rate and full G-SYNC support ensure incredibly smooth movements, allowing you to see all enemies before they see you.
High-performance cooling
ASUS has completely redesigned the cooling solution of the Strix SCAR 18 G835 based on precise calculations to ensure you get the best possible gaming experience from your machine. ASUS has moved all the air intakes to the back of the hinge to keep hot air away from your hand. The sides and bottom of the machine act as air inlets, creating a natural and efficient path for airflow. Air also flows through the keyboard tray, keeping your hands cool during intense gaming sessions. By combining an end-to-end vapour chamber with a sandwiched heat sink, Tri-Fan technology and Conductonaut Extreme liquid metal on the CPU and GPU, the Strix SCAR 18 G835 achieves lower noise levels in Turbo mode than its predecessor.in Turbo mode compared with the previous generation, while offering the same excellent computing you've come to expect from a Strix SCAR machine.
Superior audio quality
Dolby Atmos-powered speakers include two tweeters and two downward-firing woofers to create a lifelike soundstage as you play. High-resolution audio lets you hear your music in the same quality as when it was recorded. Two-Way AI Noise Cancelation processes incoming and outgoing audio signals to filter out all background noise, ensuring your calls, chats and streams are transmitted without disturbance.

Built to last, the switches on the Strix SCAR 18 keyboard are designed to withstand more than 20 million presses, while the n-key rollover function ensures that your system never misses a command, even if you press several keys at once. The Strix SCAR 18 has a large keyboard, with dedicated multimedia controls and customisable shortcut keys for the various Armoury Crate functions.
