To get an extra M.2 SSD type 2280, 2260 or 2242 for your PlayStation 5
This case from DeLock allows you to install an M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD in 2280, 2260 or 2242 format. It connects directly to the PS5 via two USB Type-A connectors. The case is robust, being made of metal with side vents to ensure optimum memory temperature.
An additional USB Type-A port is available. This port comes directly from the PlayStation. This means that the USB Type-A port on the case can still be used to connect additional USB devices or to charge the game console controller. The included extension cable can be used to connect the case to a PlayStation 4 and copy games to the M.2 SSD for use on the PS5. The cable can also be used to connect the case to a PC or laptop.
The special design of the case means that no tools are required to install the M.2 SSD. The lid can be pushed back with a little pressure, the SSD will be attached to the PCB with a rubber end cap, and then the lid is put back on until it locks.
