The Lian Li LANCOOL 217 is a mid-tower PC case designed for gamers and lovers of fine configurations. It combines refined aesthetics with real wood accents (walnut or beech) and an ultra-efficient cooling system. It features an intelligent construction with five integrated fans (including two 170 mm fans on the front) and remarkable modularity, to ensure thermal performance and immediate elegance right from the outset.
The design of the LANCOOL 217 begins with the real wood inserts on the front and top of the frame: dark walnut for the black version, light beech for the white. Behind this elegant frame, the mesh front panel ensures powerful airflow for optimum cooling.
The two 170 mm front fans, silent and powerful, are fitted without tools and can be moved to give priority to CPU or GPU cooling.
The LANCOOL 217 stands out for its flexible power supply mounting options: you can install the power supply unit in the classic position or at 90°, which facilitates access to the motherboard connectors and frees up space for a second drive cage. It also supports E-ATX and SSI-EEB motherboards.
Its generous dimensions (482 × 238 × 503 mm), its ability to house GPUs up to 380 mm, fans up to180 mm, and top heatsinks up to 360 mm make it an ideal platform for high-performance configurations or advanced workstations.

Amazing, lots of space and top ventilation and everything regarding adjustment perfect no problem and for the price perfect
Fast delivery, this case is of very good quality. The varnished wood adds a great plus. Assembled by myself, 5 fans. Can be adapted for atx equipment and large-size gpu.
I chose this case based on these criteria:
- Compatibility with the Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro 360, made easier thanks to the removable top panel
- Ability to fit a huge PSU (Dark Power 14 1000W => 23 cm)
- Power button on the side panel (a constraint due to my setup). As a bonus there’s even a button on the top panel
- Integrated GPU support, which seems essential given the size and weight of GPUs
- Airflow!
I preferred to stick with a more classic design choice: just one glass section and a bit of wood for a classy touch, which pushed me to highlight the LEDs. I wouldn’t have thought I’d do that one day (I was building PCs last century), but I got into it.
I think everything fits in this massive case. Quite a lot of customization is possible, especially regarding the GPU—if it’s huge or if you want to mount it vertically, it’s planned for, by changing the fan placement and replacing certain included parts.
Very good case with good airflow, space for hard drives and a nice look.
Nothing to report except perhaps that the Velcro strips are a bit small.
This case has a great air flow, very little dust, good temperatures, stylish... what more can you say?
