Overview

Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro: Performance and aesthetics

With the Liquid Freezer III Pro all-in-one liquid CPU cooling kit, Arctic puts all its know-how at the service of gaming thanks to an improved pump specially developed in-house and controlled by PWM. Thanks to this system, it doesn't run at full load all the time, but adjusts its operation to the temperature of the processor to limit its noise level at rest. The system is completed by high static pressure fans and another 60 mm fan near the pump in charge of cooling the motherboard's VRM circuits.

Take advantage of Arctic expertise

  • The Liquid Freezer III Pro is ready to use thanks to its pre-installed radiator fans in push configuration.
  • With the splitter cable, the pump, VRM fan and radiator fans can be controlled separately or synchronised via a single PWM signal with the all-in-one cable.
  • MX-6 thermal paste included
  • PWM-controlled 60 mm VRM fan provides socket area cooling when VRM cooling is insufficient, in case of poor airflow or especially in overclocking scenarios.
  • The Liquid Freezer III Pro is equipped with a specially developed in-house PWM-controlled water pump, which has been optimised in terms of performance and noise.
  • The improved cold plate with an extended fin surface and optimised water pipes enables the Liquid Freezer III Pro to increase its performance while maintaining silent operation.
  • The cooling surface of the 38 mm thick radiator has been extended by 23% thanks to the increased fin stack. This not only provides better heat dissipation, but also a greater volume of liquid.
  • The Liquid Freezer III Pro is based on the P Pro series fans, which have a high static pressure.

    High-end cooling for uncompromising power!

An excellent liquid cooling system, perfectly suited to my high-end workstation equipped with an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D and an NVIDIA RTX 5080.

I put this setup through its paces for my advanced artificial intelligence, software development, scientific computing, simulation, and 2D/3D CAD projects.

With its imposing 420 mm radiator and three 140 mm fans, this ARCTIC inspires confidence right away. Its robust design, build quality, and cooling capacity make it an excellent choice for a processor this powerful.

So far, I haven’t encountered any problems, and it has been working perfectly.

Many thanks to the LDLC team for their advice, professionalism, and friendliness. Their support is always a pleasure!

A high-quality product that I highly recommend for demanding setups!

    Disappointed...

The fan on the processor side is broken... package received already opened, well... that doesn't really surprise me anymore

    High-performance and great-looking liquid cooling

Very effective cooling; the processor stays cool even under prolonged load. The 360 mm radiator is quiet, and the white A-RGB lighting looks superb. Installed by LDLC in my tower, it’s flawless.

Good product despite the installation being less than straightforward

Installing the CPU block isn’t very convenient. The tubes are too rigid and make installation difficult, so you have to apply force to properly clip the CPU block into its mount.
