The Cisco CW9176I Wi-Fi 7 Access Point is ideal for high-density environments and mission-critical applications. It also offers a choice of on-premise or cloud-based management. This Cisco access point can leverage Wi-Fi 7 to support video streaming, augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR). It offers real-time information and personalised user experiences. It operates in the 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz bands for superior throughput and capacity. Equipped with three 4x4 radios and IoT radios, the Cisco CW9176I features an omnidirectional antenna. It is suitable for most enterprise deployments, and an internal directional antenna.
Cloud management and 802.11be-compatible wireless performance
Combining this Cisco CW9176I Access Point with the Meraki Cloud Platform provides a unified IT experience for network monitoring and management. The Meraki dashboard features an intuitive and interactive web interface.
The Cisco CW9176I supports software-defined flexible radio operating in either 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz mode. This allows the access point to be used in a dual-band (5 GHz and 6 GHz) or tri-band configuration. The tri-band configuration uses spectrum in the 6 GHz frequency range, providing additional channels to increase throughput and reduce interference from existing devices. Support for 6 GHz ensures that the CW9176I supports future technologies.
The CW9176I is a cloud-managed 802.11be compliant 4x4:4 access point that focuses on wireless performance and efficiency. Designed for next-generation deployments in offices, schools, hospitals, retail and hotels, the CW9176I offers high throughput, enterprise-grade security and simple management.
The CW9176I offers a maximum aggregate frame rate of 18 Gbps with simultaneous 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz radios. A fourth dedicated radio provides real-time WIDS/WIPS with automated RF optimisation, and a fifth integrated IoT radio provides Bluetooth scanning and beaconing.
